Postgraduate course in Community Medicine was started in the year 1993. This is a comprehensive, full time, 3 year training course leading on to the award of MD degree in Community Medicine. This MD course is recognized by Medical Council of India. Currently this degree is awarded by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.
